Yesterday brought a lot of glitz and glamour to the Norsk Hostfest, North America’s largest celebration of Scandinavian food and culture held each year in Minot, ND.
One of the guests to visit the Touchstone Energy booth is Casey Paul. She is the daughter of Basin Electric employees Mike and Diane Paul.
Casey works as a celebrity stylist and fashion designer in New York City. Her past and present clients include Liza Minnelli, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Ripa.
Casey and her cousin Chappy Windsor, a jewelry designer, have a booth at the festival this year.

Casey says she’s been to the Norsk Hostfest every year of her life. “We’ve been going every year since it was just a lutefisk dinner! We used to be Myron Floren’s official chicken dancers.”
Tippi Hedren, known for her role in the 1963 movie, The Birds.
Hedren grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota.

The man pictured with Hedren and Griffith below is Geir Ness. He is originally from Oslo, Norway, and has been selling his perfume “Laila” at the Hostfest for more than a decade. One well-known perk to stopping by his booth is that he offers hand massages.
