Leland Olds Station holds successful blood drives

Stanley Burling, Leland Olds Station control room operator, gives blood regularly.

Each year at our Annual Meeting, we share a video focused on different facets of cooperative social responsibility at Basin Electric and in our membership.

Social responsibility means we work for our members; we stand for democracy, education, and cooperation among cooperatives. We fill the needs we see in our communities.

We are sharing pieces of the cooperative social responsibility video here over the next couple of months. This segment focuses on health and human services.

Basin Electric employees regularly give blood through drives held at Headquarters and our facilities. Our Leland Olds Station, in particular, holds successful blood drives every time they’re asked. We shared part of the reason for their success in this post in 2018: Leland Olds Station employee’s tasty talent offers an extra incentive to donate blood

We talked with several employees to learn why donating blood is a priority for them.
