Basin Electric joins 11 other North Dakota businesses as being named a “Best Place to Work” for 2016, according to the North Dakota Young Professionals (NDYP) Network.
NDYP recognized Basin Electric Power Cooperatives and 10 other businesses as a runners up in the “Best Place to Work” category. Top billing went to Capital Credit Union in Bismarck.
This is the second time Basin Electric has been honored by NDYP as a runner-up in this category.
North Dakota Young Professionals, coordinated by Center for Technology & Business, has been presenting the Best Place to Work and Best Place to Intern awards to North Dakota businesses since 2008.
To be considered for the award, applicants submitted a detailed questionnaire about the company benefits, advancement opportunities, and why their business is an outstanding place for young professionals to work or intern.
A statewide committee of young professional judges sifted through the nominees from across the state, determining the winners, as well as runners up in each category.
