The interaction between kids and adults was, well … sweeter than candy.
Basin Electric had some very high-profile visitors Halloween morning, including princesses, superheroes, firefighters, and even the ever-elusive unicorn.
Some 75 preschoolers from the YMCA Youth Development Center North, a third of which are children of Basin Electric employees, were greeted at the door with special Halloween-themed Basin Electric badges, then whisked off to pay a visit to Paul Sukut, Basin Electric CEO and general manager, who was waiting with candy. The next stop was the cafeteria, where they loaded up on treats, glow sticks, bouncy balls and Play-Doh, distributed by volunteers of the BE Involved group. BE Involved is a group of Basin Electric employees who volunteer for a variety of causes.
The children of Basin Electric are allowed to trickle through the building throughout the day, making their way through the offices of eagerly-awaiting coworkers.
