Basin Electrics Headquarters employees have donated Christmas gifts for 150 underprivileged children and adults in the Bismarck-Mandan community.

Basin Electric’s Headquarters employees have donated Christmas gifts for more than 120 underprivileged children and adults in the Bismarck-Mandan community.

More than 120 underprivileged children and adults in the Bismarck-Mandan (ND) area will have a present under the Christmas tree, thanks to Basin Electric’s Headquarters employees.

For the 16th year, Basin Electric’s Headquarters employees participated in the co-op’s Sharing Tree program. Due to growing needs in the community, this year’s Sharing Tree boasted more tags than ever before. True to their cooperative spirit, Basin Electric employees met this need and purchased gift items for all people represented by the tags.

In addition to supporting underprivileged children and adults, Basin Electric employees participated in the Kali Grace & Minnie Mouse Toy Drive for the second year. Kali Grace, a Brave the Shave honoree, became an angel at just 3 years old. She bravely battled cancer for 15 months until she passed away in 2014. This is the second holiday season her family has collected toys to be delivered to Sanford Children’s Hospital in her honor.
