Train the trainer helps reach youngest members

Story Behind the Switch

“When we were presented with this opportunity I told my boss, ‘I’m first in line’.”

Robert Adams is excited about the new role he gets to play within his cooperative. Adams has begun presenting the Story Behind the Switch program in a train the trainer pilot roll-out. Adams is a relationship manager for Basin Electric Class A member Tri-State G&T Association.

Basin Electric has been bringing the Story Behind the Switch hands-on educational program to its members for more than 30 years, teaching students to be safe around electricity, the various ways of generating electricity, and electricity’s path from the power source to a home.
