Lyon-Lincoln Electric Cooperative celebrates 75 years

Embracing Cooperative Values. That was the theme for the 75th anniversary, held June 4, of Lyon-Lincoln Electric Cooperative, a Basin Electric Class C member.

The focus was on the cooperative’s values, and how these values guided the cooperative throughout its 75 years of existence.

Co-op Linemen provided bucket truck rides for anyone who wanted to experience the view from 65 feet. Here, Touchstone Energy balloon Pilot Cheri White gets a look.

Members were able to view a safety demonstration featuring the high voltage safety trailer from the South Dakota Rural Electric Association.

The Touchstone Energy balloon team provided rides for members looking to take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy a tethered ride.
