In the May/June 2010 issue of Basin Today, we told you about Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association‘s MyMeter program. It helps consumers understand and manage their use of electricity. The story was called Demystifying the kilowatt-hour.

At the end of this month, the cooperative will be wrapping up a competition that used MyMeter to track the electricity use of six families. Check out the story below.

It sounds similar to "The Biggest Loser" on NBC… but there's a lot less energy involved.
