The students of Highland Acres Elementary in Bismarck have gone a little wacky.

Students at Highland Acres Elementary in Bismarck on Wacky Hair Day.
They let loose for Wacky Hair Day Feb. 28. The students styled faux-hawks, pigtails and top buns, and dyed their hair all shades of the rainbow to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Then, at the St. Baldrick’s event in Bismarck March 15, three members of Highland Acres staff and several members of the sixth grade will be having their heads shaved! The St. Baldrick’s Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research. Over the course of the week, the school raised more than $200!
Watch the video to see the kids’ hairstyles, and to learn why they think St. Baldrick’s is a good cause.

Great videos! Seeing and hearing from these kids makes a lasting impression that is not possible by a written words alone.
Thanks Dennis! I agree. Those kids were a real treat to interview.
