Perhaps the most fun moment of the day was when Bob Bartosh, Dakota Coal Company chief operating officer, got to christen the dragline with a bottle of sparkling grape juice.

At the moment the bottle hit the dragline’s tub, crews standing on the dragline above the stage dropped confetti on the ceremony.
