Angel Air Care Services stopped by the Great Plains Synfuels Plant July 19 to share with staff information on the services they offer. The helicopter landed and took off with ease in the open area by the medical services, chemistry lab and change house buildings.
Synfuels Plant staff and Antelope Valley Station Plant Manager John Jacobs checked out the helicopter and the equipment provided before discussing with Angel Air Care representatives the services they have to offer.
Irene Beckman, medical services lead, says the helicopter provides medical transportation to the regional area hospitals. “In an emergency, rapid response is the key to saving lives,” Beckman says.
