Jim Headley has studied his land near White Lake, SD, for 40 years.
When representatives from Basin Electric told him they were looking to build wind turbines in the area, he wondered how it might affect the birds he loves to watch.
He’s been keeping track. He even hosted a birding tour, sponsored by the SD Grasslands Coalition. The tour group identified birds within the Crow Lake Wind Project.
Watch the video to see what they found.
Great story, Tracie. Really learned something from Jim!
