Dry Fork Station receives accolades from Rep. Lummis in D.C.

Construction crews working on Basin Electric’s newest power plant, Dry Fork Station, reached an outstanding milestone Dec. 31. Collectively, they surpassed 6 million man-hours without a lost-time injury. That’s working more than two consecutive years safely.

Word of the milestone spread … all the way to Washington, D.C. In a meeting on Jan. 25, Rep. Cynthia Lummis (WY) presented Basin Electric CEO and General Manager Ron Harper with a congratulatory certificate of Basin Electric’s commitment to safety.

Rep. Cynthia Lummis congratulated Ron Harper on Basin Electric's commitment to safety.

Watch The Flip Side — Harper was invited by Sen. John Hoeven (ND) to attend a reception for freshman senators and members of Congress at the White House last night. We’ll have video here soon.
