Jim Kleinsasser, tight end for the Minnesota Vikings, has graciously signed a football and jersey to be auctioned off for the 2011 St. Baldrick’s event to be held in here in Bismarck! Kleinsasser is a North Dakota native, and grew up on Northern Plains Electric Cooperative lines.

What is St. Baldrick’s? Each year, thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer while requesting donations of support from friends and family.
The men, women and children who participated in the 2010 St. Baldrick’s fun at Basin Electric raised more than $110,000. In the three years since North Dakota’s first event in 2008, Basin Electric employees and volunteers raised close to $350,000!
