Culbertson Generation Station in Montana: June 30, 2009
Construction of the peaking station near Culbertson, Montana, began June 29.
The peaking facility will be a 95-megawatt capacity, natural gas-fueled peaking station. Shaffer said it will feature the General Electric LMS100® turbine/generator, 
the same turbine/generator that’s in operation at Basin Electric’s Groton Generation Station, near Groton, SD.
