National Renewables Cooperative Organization is holding its first Annual Meeting today. NRCO formed in April. That’s right, this past April.
The new co-op is an effort by 24 electric cooperatives from across the nation to help develop renewable energy by working together. At NRCO’s last board meeting, they voted to allow each NRCO member to have a seat on the board, up to 30 seats. Basin Electric CEO Ron Harper is the board president. NRCO’s headquarters are virtual for now.
